I became a pastor because I believe the words of Jesus, when He said "I have come that you might have life, and have it more abundantly". I have made it my life's purpose to experience this life that Jesus talks about and share it with others. So I invite you to journey with us as we discover life in a community of faith that extols all of God's promises for us.
BIO:
I was born and raised in Fullerton, a city in East Orange County. In 2003, I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from La Sierra University in Riverside, CA. I then proceeded to the seminary on the Campus of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, where I received a Master of Divinity in 2006.
When I am not working I like to read, write, paint, and go the gym. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, because I feel that relationships are what we were created for.
It is my hope that our church can be a place "for the rest of us". Where it doesn't matter where we come from, or where we are going, what we look like, or what we believe. But that our church may be a place where faithful believers in Christ can worship and experience faith together.

Bio:
My name is Gilberto Del Vecchio, 33, born in Brazil, married to Renata Sabio Del Vecchio, have a little princess called Gabriella Raen Sabio Del Vecchio-- 4 years old, and expecting another baby sometime in Feb/09.
I became a Seventh-day Adventist in 1995 when a neighbor --Mr. Valdomiro Ferreira, gave me a Bible and offered me Bible studies. In 1998 I got married and decided to come to the USA. During those days I was pursuing my dream of becoming an airplane pilot but after an amazing revelation of God I was convinced that I had to become a pastor instead.
In 1999 I was accepted at La Sierra University where I earned a BA in Religion. Meanwhile attending LSU, I was invited to be an Assistant Pastor for Chino Portuguese Speaking where I volunteered 4 years. In 2004 I was offered a job at Calexico Mission School to serve as Chaplain and to teach Jr. High Bible.
My responsibilities as Worship Area Leader involve Adult Sabbath school, Music, Audio and Visual, and etc. My passions are: Evangelism, Youth Ministries, playing the guitar, and singing.
